What this document covers

The marketing website is separate from the StoreScoutAI workspace. Starting a free demo, requesting a tailored demonstration or discussing a pilot does not create a paid subscription.

01

Scope and operator

These terms apply when you browse or use the public website at storescoutai.co.uk. By using the website, you agree to follow them. If you do not agree, you should stop using the website.

StoreScoutAI is the trading name used for this website and product. In these terms, “StoreScoutAI”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the business operating the website. The legal supplier for any paid service is identified in the relevant quotation, order or customer agreement.

The website is intended for people acting for business or professional purposes. It is not directed at consumers or children.

02

Website, demo and paid service

This website explains StoreScoutAI, publishes business resources and lets you request a demonstration. It does not itself provide a paid StoreScoutAI subscription.

A free sample workspace at app.storescoutai.co.uk is a separate product service and is governed by the product Terms of use and Privacy notice. A paid pilot or subscription is governed by the accepted quotation, the Subscription terms and any other customer agreement.

If a signed customer document expressly conflicts with this page, the signed customer document takes priority for the paid service.

03

Acceptable use

You may use the website for lawful business evaluation, research and communication with StoreScoutAI. You must not:

  • attempt to bypass security controls, gain unauthorised access or test the website for vulnerabilities without written permission;
  • introduce malicious code, interfere with availability, overload the service or disrupt another visitor;
  • impersonate another person or submit information that is unlawful, deliberately misleading, abusive or infringing;
  • use high-volume automation to scrape, copy or systematically extract the website or its product imagery; or
  • use the website in a way that infringes another person's rights or breaks applicable law.

We may block or restrict website access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, users, our rights or third-party services, or to investigate suspected misuse.

04

Demo requests and enquiries

You should provide accurate business contact information and avoid including confidential, special-category or unnecessary personal information in a demonstration request.

Submitting a form, selecting an indicative plan, receiving a demonstration or discussing pricing is an enquiry only. It is not acceptance of an offer and does not create a subscription, reserve pilot capacity or commit either party to proceed.

Our Website privacy notice explains how information submitted through the public website is handled.

05

Product and pricing information

We aim to describe the current StoreScoutAI product and paid pilot accurately. Features, integrations, evidence sources, availability, pilot capacity and commercial arrangements can change as the product develops.

Published prices are monthly business plan prices in GBP, with VAT added where legally applicable. Website pricing is not a binding offer. A current quotation or order confirms the agreed price, plan, users, credits, services, start date, term, payment arrangements and tax treatment before a paid service begins.

Nothing on this website promises that a particular feature, source or pilot place will remain available until it is confirmed in a customer agreement.

06

Data, rankings and DRS content

StoreScoutAI combines public, licensed, calculated and customer-confirmed information. Source coverage can be incomplete, delayed, stale, restricted or matched to the wrong premises. A refresh or source reference does not guarantee that every field is current or correct.

Store Priority and RVM Decision are planning aids for human review. They do not guarantee a sale, establish a retailer's legal obligations, confirm site feasibility or replace a site survey, source verification, vendor specification or professional judgement.

Deposit return scheme (DRS), reverse vending machine (RVM) and other regulatory resources are general commercial planning information, not legal, regulatory, engineering, financial or investment advice. Rules can change and differ across UK nations. Check current official sources and obtain appropriate professional advice before acting.

07

Intellectual property

The StoreScoutAI name, website design, original copy, software presentation and product imagery are owned by us or used under licence. Third-party names, maps, data and marks remain the property of their respective owners.

You may view the website, link to public pages and print or save reasonable extracts for internal business evaluation. You must not sell, commercially republish, remove attribution from, modify or systematically extract substantial parts of the website without written permission.

These restrictions do not prevent normal search-engine indexing that follows our published crawler controls or any use that applicable law expressly permits.

08

Third-party services and links

The website links to the StoreScoutAI product, official guidance and other third-party services for context. A link does not mean that we control or endorse everything on the destination website.

Third-party websites and services have their own terms, availability and privacy practices. We are not responsible for content or changes outside our control, and you should review the relevant terms before using them.

09

Availability and liability

We use reasonable care in publishing and maintaining the website, but we do not promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or free from errors. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the public website without notice.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for business loss arising from reliance on the public website alone, including loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, anticipated savings, goodwill or data, or indirect or consequential loss. Separate customer terms govern liability for a paid StoreScoutAI service.

10

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the website, product boundaries, law or business operations. The effective date and version at the top identify the current document.

Updated website terms apply from the date they are published. A change to this page does not by itself amend an accepted quotation or signed customer agreement.

11

General terms and contact

If a provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive it. No person other than you and the business operating StoreScoutAI has a right to enforce these website terms.

These terms and any non-contractual dispute relating to the public website are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
